Study of all of the physic-chemical processes for the valorization of lignocellulosic waste in bioproducts including hydrolysis, digestion processes and detoxification of lignocellulosic materials for fermentation purposes. Study of the processes at laboratory and pilot scales, modeling and optimization. Development of lignocellulosic waste characterization and pulp and paper properties.
