Next April 24-26, 2024 in Riga there will be held the BTechPro International Conference. All research to different aspects of valorization and characterization of biomass are welcome and the abstract submission in open in the following link https://www.btechpro.lv/call-for-abstracts.
Early career scientists (students, postdocs) are encouraged to join the conference to present their work, participate in the networking programme, and to take this chance to visit the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry during the laboratory tours (the pilot-scale biorefinery hangar is the main highlight) on the first day of the conference. Participants can also register without presentations (for example, supervisors and senior researchers), and supporters from the industry are also very welcome!

One of the keynote lectures and member of the Scientific Committee will be Tamara Llano researcher of the Green Engineering and Resources group talking about the “Application of Deep Eutectic Solvents (DES) in high-purity textile cellulose samples and lignocellulosic wastes”.
